One of the most common requests I receive is to recommend products with or without specific ingredients - some curlies might want to avoid poly's or glycerin, or use/avoid certain protein ingredients or select brands with similar lifestyle ethos. With over 200 products in stock, I have set up a filterable list to ensure I can answer quickly and accurately every time.
Sharing is caring - so here is the list - shared as a Google Drive link so you can filter the sheet to your personal needs.
I'll be reviewing and adding products to this list regularly, so be sure to check back for updates!
Disclaimer: Product ingredient lists can change without notice. I review the spreadsheet periodically but please ensure you check ingredients on the products you purchase. This sheet is to be used as a guide, I check each product again before recommending to my customers. Allergen information relates to common allergies my customers have enquired about - this is by no means an exhaustive list. This list is not to be medically relied upon as I am not a medical professional. Always allergy test new products prior to use. I have shared this list to use as a guide in an effort to help the Curly Community - please use it in the spirit in which it has been shared - do not share without permission.
Sources: I have done extensive research with suppliers, scoured MSDSheets etc regarding Ingredients. I do want to give a huge shout out to Wendy's Science-y Hair Blog. The easy to understand way that she explains ingredients and they way they interact with the hair makes for an awesome reference point for any curly wanting to understand more about the ingredients in products we use.
